I have listened to Jamie Grace, Christian artist from Georgia. I like one of her songs called “Every Bit of Lovely.” There is a phrase that I want to refer to. ” There’s no need to be so revealing, no matter what you’re feeling. It’s the beauty inside that’s gonna last.”
In other words, girls should not have to wear clothing to be revealing so a dude give you that look or for you trying to fit in a group of people. I see girls/women dressing in some clothes that might suck the life out of them.
I am adding boys/men into this too. What is up with the sagging jeans? What is the point of this? I am not the only person who wants to see your drawls nor your butt crack. Y’all can barely walk without tripping or constantly pulling up them jeans.
1Corinthians 6:19-20 says:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Romans 12:1-2 says, “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
I am not saying that you have to dress in clothes from older times. What I am saying is that modesty is God’s policy. You can look nice without going all out. If you want their attention that badly, then go to them and start with a hello.
