You Didn’t Have to Edit That

Thirteenth love letter from a book someone gave me. The verses related to the letter were Psalms 27:4, Isaiah 52:7, and Zechariah 9:17.

I don’t understand why the media expects people to look a certain way to be beautiful/handsome. I don’t understand how most people make others feel bad just because of differences; weight, height, disabilities, intelligence, etc.

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” I hear this too often. I don’t know about you, but words can hurt. Hurtful words have lead to suicide, especially in children and teenagers :-(. They have led to body damage and/or disorders. Unfortunately, we live in a world like this. I suggest we think more before we speak. “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.”

I know it is easier said than done, but please don’t change yourself! Embrace your uniqueness! Be yourself! Not everyone is going to like you. As long as you love yourself, you are good enough.
